Tiger Brands: Enterprise Brands
This is not the first time that Tiger Brand has been entangled in a scandal. There was the bread price fixing scandal back in 2007 and now the listeriosis outbreak is also linked to them. Tiger Brands owns Enterprise Food which is currently embroiled in the listeriosis outbreak which has claimed the lives of 180 people. All these things that are happening in this company are just a blatant why of showing how much they lack in ethical behaviour. I mean this goes to show that they have no care for their stakeholders and are rather fattening their pockets then ensure that the products they sell are safe and good for consumption.
The deaths of the 180 people is their fault and due to the negligence of not making sure that their products are safe for consumption. What also ticks me off is how Enterprise Brands blocked its social media pages once the truth of where the outbreak came from and had excuses.
Theses deaths could have been avoided had they taken action from the get go.
This is so bad i don't blame them to banish all these brands that are causing such a problem in the country ...government should make sure that this does not happen again.
ReplyDeleteTiger Brands was careless with its customers. Given how much the company makes from South Africa, it could have taken better care of what it feeds its people. This was pure negligence
ReplyDeleteThere must be a very strong case against Tiger Brands
